Before the event, live interviews on the professional chefs that compose San Tan team were made by big networks in Arizona. This just shows that San Tan Brewing Company's version of Oktoberfest is a significant event looked forward to by a lot of people. The celebration also coincided with the Oktoberfest enjoyed by the people in Munich, Germany for more than 200 years. The only difference is that San Tan's celebration only runs for a day, instead of the typical 2-week celebration in Munich. Despite being held only for a day, those in attendance were still amazed by how uniquely prepared and organized the festival was. It gave participants including children the opportunity to enjoy a fascinating moment with good friends and family. Aside from amazingly and uniquely prepared foods and handcraft beers, San Tan also offered activities enjoyed not only by adults but young adults and children, as well.

San Tan Brewing Oktoberfest 2013 offered highly authentic German foods that are still capable of showing the style of the people of Arizona, when it comes to food preparation. This means that the professional chefs of the company made it a point to bring out the unique style of the local dishes in Arizona even when preparing German cuisine. For instance, the company prepared the Sonoran dog using the brat which is traditionally famous in Germany. The chefs add the style of locals into this dish by adding extra Jalapeno into it as well as guacamole and pico de gallo. It also made use of local sausages. Despite following the German cuisine, the owner of the company still said that they made the dishes with a touch of Arizona style because the celebration was held in the wonderful state of Arizona, not Munich.

The cost spent by locals in order to attend the event is only $10 for the ticket. Children below twelve gained entrance for free. It was totally family-oriented. It was a festival which offered utmost fascination to people of all ages. The party also showcased live entertainment, polka bands, bratwursts, and great abundance of beer and foods. It turned into a community-focused and family-oriented festival, spilling out of the exact location of San Tan Brewing Company into the neighboring park in Downtown Chandler.

Band performances including the ones offered by the Expendables were also impressive. They performed polka and upbeat tunes live on tall platforms, offering soundtrack to those who revel into their chosen drinks and foods. Every activity performed into the event truly wowed the crowd, making them want to join the next events that will be organized and prepared by San Tan Brewing Company.
