3 of the Best Beers Offered by San Tan Brewing

In Chandler, Arizona, there is one brewery, which is a favorite spot of regular and occasional beer drinkers who would like to get a taste of great-tasting beers and delectable foods. This brewery is San Tan Brewing. People cannot seem to get enough of visiting this restaurant and brewery because aside from offering the best beers, the staff including the waiters and waitresses, brewers and bartenders as well as the owner and brew-master Anthony Canecchia, never fail to offer the most unforgettable dining and drinking experiences to their customers. They do this by regularly conveying information about the best beer products and the perfect way through which it should coincide with foods.

The marketing and sales people of the company and brewers also hang out with customers from one time or another. This creates a wonderful, friendly and welcoming environment for them. This is also the reason why San Tan continues to have a bond with its customers. For those who have not visited San Tan Brewing Company yet, then the following beers and brews should be on top of the many beverages that they should try:

1. Devil's Ale
San Tan Brewing beer

This is San Tan's flagship brew. The beer style follows the West Coast Pale Ale and takes pride of using American Ale as its yeast. It has an exciting deep golden, maroon hue. One of the most defining traits of the drink is its great-tasting citrus hop character. This comes from the hops used in brewing it namely the Centennial and Cascade hops. An advantage of this drink is that it has a firm yet well-balanced caramel malt flavor. Devil's Ale is also one of the most widely accepted ale all over Arizona, so it will no longer come as a surprise why it continues to receive a high customer satisfaction rate. Pairing the ale with pork and salmon and sharp cheeses like Colby and Cheddar also helps in further bringing out its delicious taste.

2. HefeWeizen Wheat
San Tan Brewing Company Beer

This drink makes use of the Hefeweizen as its yeast. It refers to an unfiltered Bavarian-style wheat beer which boasts of a sweet and sparkling character. It also unmistakably brings out the trait of banana-clove. It uses Munich, white wheat and two-row barley for its malt. San Tan Brewing believes that pairing it with orange or lemon can help make the brew more appealing than usual. It also features some fruitiness in it which makes it perfect for sweet dishes, fresh cheese like Chevre and Mozzarella and curries.

3. Gordo Stout
San Tan Brewing Company Beer

This drink features the unmistakable robust coffee and chocolate flavors. The style of this beer is Classic Dry Irish Stout. It has an extremely bright color and a smooth texture. Malt used to bring out the flavor and body of Gordo Stout include two-row barley, chocolate, black barley, roasted barley, wheat, Munich and Caramel 80. Serving the drink involves the use of a drought spout to produce cascading effects. This works in bringing out the visual appeal and delicious flavor of the drink. It is the ideal beer for people, who would like to spend several hours talking and bonding with their friends because its alcohol content is only low.

Mentioned above are just three of the most amazing beers included in the beer and brew collection of San Tan Brewing. San Tan's founder and brewmaster, with the help of his crew, is still on the lookout of other ways to brew beer so the company can continuously provide the most amazing beer and food pairings to their loyal patrons.

Anthony Canecchia's SanTan brewing Beer History

Beer is a beverage with a long history.  Beer is known to be a celebratory drink, but it has had its share of controversy.  One of the most notable controversies was the national ban known as Prohibition. In 1919, the 18th Amendment was ratified.  The amendment provided that the manufacture and sale of alcohol in the United States was prohibited.  The ban went into effect on January 16, 1920.  Because the amendment did not specifically prohibit drinking the alcohol, people stocked up with the legal liquor before the first day of the ban.  Immediately, the fight began to repeal the amendment.  During the fourteen year period of prohibition, many things occurred that lent support to the cause of repealing the amendment.  The Great Depression was a main turning point because the argument was made that legally making liquor would boost the economy by providing jobs for citizens and taxes for the government.  When the 21st Amendment was ratified on December 5, 1933, it repealed the 18th Amendment by making alcoholic beverages legal again.

Seventy-four years later, the SanTan Brewing Company launched its brewing business in 2007 in Arizona.  Just as the brewers impacted the economy in the past following the cancellation of Prohibition, SanTan Brewing Company has boosted its local economy by funneling proceeds into the coffers of Chandler, Arizona. Placing the microbrewery in historic Downtown Chandler has been a key component in revitalizing Downtown Chandler. Providing an atmosphere that draws large crowds and promotes tourism has been a boon to the local economy. The expansion of the SanTan Brewing Company has provided an increase in its workforce and the volume of its beer production. Overall, the craft beer industry has continually boosted the national economy as well. In 2010 and 2011, craft beer sales increased while the overall beer sales declined during the recession. In 2011, there were 1,940 independently owned craft breweries in the United States.  In the 1970s, there were only 44.  In the 1870s, there were 3,200 breweries in the nation. The market is fermenting and there is room again for growth.

Anthony Canecchia, the owner and brewmaster of SanTan Brewing Company, has a company ready to bubble over into the national market. The recently acquired and operational facility will triple the output of the company’s brew. Canecchia’s marketing tactics are extraordinarily fun.  The party atmosphere surrounding the brewpub’s theme festivals continues to lure visitors from near and far. The SanTan Brewing Company Oktoberfest is in its sixth year.  It kicks off at 4 p.m. on Saturday, October 5, 2013, and ends at midnight. The seasonal specialty brew showcased at this festival is the SanTan Oktoberfest. The festival targets not only beer enthusiasts. Those who have not yet acquired the taste for beer are invited as well to join in the fun and enjoy the food and family atmosphere. Celebrating the Bavarian way of life is just another avenue to accomplish the mission of SanTan Brewing Company: to bring drink, food, and conversation together in a satisfying way.

Anthony Canecchia and His Undeniable Passion in Brewing Craft Beers

The passion of the globally recognized founder and owner of San Tan Brewing, named Anthony Canecchia, when it comes to brewing craft beers and pairing these beverages with the right foods is unquestionable. His strong passion in the field of brewing is one reason why he was able to raise and develop San Tan Brewing, after years of improving his skills in the field. Presently, his founded company is among the finest and top micro-breweries in Arizona. Anthony continuously think of ways to make great improvements in this company by trying to discover techniques on crafting the best beers, and combining the beverages with the most appetizing dishes.

The founding of San Tan took place last 2007 in the historical Valley National Bank found in Downtown Chandler, AZ. Since then, the company, with the successful administration of Anthony Canecchia, turned into the best destination for craft food and beer lovers alike. The primary goal of operating the brewpub is to offer the best neighborhood spot for exciting and fun gatherings of close families, colleagues and friends. The brewpub is the perfect destination for all those who plan to enjoy freshly brewed beers that use the finest ingredients, hops, malts and barley.

Anthony Canecchia is wise enough to find a location for his company in downtown Chandler, which allows it to stand out despite the presence of strip malls filled with restaurants, a winery and pub. One reason behind its popularity is the fact that people can easily spot it. Downtown Chandler is a place which did not receive great recognition from people who love to hang out in the past. However, after the founding of the strip mall and the brewing company owned by Anthony, Downtown Chandler turned into one of the greatest places to visit. This turned Chandler, AZ into such a busy place each night, which focuses on fun and entertaining activities.

One thing that allowed San Tan to stand out continuously is its nice atmosphere. It has a nice patio area which becomes even breathtaking during the spring season. It has a long bar which allows a lot of patrons to enjoy their drinks and their chance to socialize with other craft beer lovers. It has a dining area, with a lot of high definition televisions that allow visitors to enjoy watching their favorite sports while also getting a sip of their favorite craft beers. The good thing about Anthony is that he also makes it a point to train his staff about his created beers. This makes them fully knowledgeable about the offered beers in the company. This assures those who decide to visit the place that they can receive excellent answers to certain questions that will let them pick the best beverage.

San Tan Brewing, run by Anthony Canecchia, offers around six year-round beers. These are crafted with the undeniable passion of the brewmaster and owner of the company in terms of brewing beverages. These are the Hefeweizen, Sunspot Gold, Epicenter Amber, Gordo Stout, Hopshock IPA and Devil's Ale. Anthony also offers a few seasonal drinks. Aside from their food and beer pairings, the company also hosts a variety of exciting events. One of the many events hosted by the company this year is its 6th Celebration of the Oktoberfest, which drew a lot of people in the entire Arizona to the exact location of the event.

Amazing Craft Beers for the People

When creating beers for everyone to enjoy, a lot of attention is placed on the ingredients that go into the beers. Whether making the standard beer selections that are available year round or coming up with something new, Anthony Canecchia and his brew masters make sure that they create beers that are going to be well received. Some of the seasonal beers will have a slightly different taste from year to year in an effort to create a beer that is unique to the season and will provide the best flavor.

The feedback from the people drinking the beer has a lot to do with the way that the craft beers will evolve from the San Tan Brewing Company. This is because it is important to create a beer that not only tastes great, but will be well received by those who are actually buying the beers. Anthony Canecchia appreciates the feedback that is available from those people who go to the restaurant throughout the year, because he is able to get instant feedback from them about the beers that are being produced. Rather than having to wait for a letter to come in, he can simply visit the bar or a table and ask them what they think of the beer.

A Gratifying Art

Those involved in the brewing process at San Tan Brewing Company are very into what they are doing. There is a lot of pride that goes into not only selecting the best ingredients to make the best craft beers, but combining the ingredients in the right way to create a finished product the whole team can be proud of.
