Oktoberfest 2013 the San Tan Way Rocked the State of Arizona

The 6th year celebration of San Tan Brewing Company, for its own take of the Oktoberfest which started in Munich, Germany, rocked Arizona last October 5, 2013. Thousands of participants were given the opportunity to be fully fascinated with everything that goes into the event, not just the amazing foods and drinks. Anthony Canecchia revealed a few weeks before the celebration that their version of the Oktoberfest will also coincide with the 6th founding anniversary of San Tan. From 4pm last October 5 up to midnight, everyone who attended the event were wowed by all the things that San Tan prepared and organized for them.

Before the event, live interviews on the professional chefs that compose San Tan team were made by big networks in Arizona. This just shows that San Tan Brewing Company's version of Oktoberfest is a significant event looked forward to by a lot of people. The celebration also coincided with the Oktoberfest enjoyed by the people in Munich, Germany for more than 200 years. The only difference is that San Tan's celebration only runs for a day, instead of the typical 2-week celebration in Munich. Despite being held only for a day, those in attendance were still amazed by how uniquely prepared and organized the festival was. It gave participants including children the opportunity to enjoy a fascinating moment with good friends and family. Aside from amazingly and uniquely prepared foods and handcraft beers, San Tan also offered activities enjoyed not only by adults but young adults and children, as well.

San Tan Brewing Oktoberfest 2013 offered highly authentic German foods that are still capable of showing the style of the people of Arizona, when it comes to food preparation. This means that the professional chefs of the company made it a point to bring out the unique style of the local dishes in Arizona even when preparing German cuisine. For instance, the company prepared the Sonoran dog using the brat which is traditionally famous in Germany. The chefs add the style of locals into this dish by adding extra Jalapeno into it as well as guacamole and pico de gallo. It also made use of local sausages. Despite following the German cuisine, the owner of the company still said that they made the dishes with a touch of Arizona style because the celebration was held in the wonderful state of Arizona, not Munich.

The cost spent by locals in order to attend the event is only $10 for the ticket. Children below twelve gained entrance for free. It was totally family-oriented. It was a festival which offered utmost fascination to people of all ages. The party also showcased live entertainment, polka bands, bratwursts, and great abundance of beer and foods. It turned into a community-focused and family-oriented festival, spilling out of the exact location of San Tan Brewing Company into the neighboring park in Downtown Chandler.

Band performances including the ones offered by the Expendables were also impressive. They performed polka and upbeat tunes live on tall platforms, offering soundtrack to those who revel into their chosen drinks and foods. Every activity performed into the event truly wowed the crowd, making them want to join the next events that will be organized and prepared by San Tan Brewing Company.

San Tan Brewing Company's Oktoberfest 2013 Celebration: A Feast of Good Foods and Great Beers

Last October 5, 2013, San Tan Brewing held another unforgettable event enjoyed by everyone in Chandler, Arizona. On this date, fans of German foods, handcrafted beers and polka music gathered together to celebrate the 6th Anniversary of the Oktoberfest Celebration of San Tan. Before the event, locals in Arizona have already marked their calendars because they know that the entertainment lineup organized by San Tan for them, and set to invade Downtown Chandler will allow them to enjoy an unforgettable and exciting night filled with fun.

Anthony Canecchia

The Oktoberfest celebration began in Germany. It is celebrated annually, for over two hundred years. The good news is that people in Arizona no longer need to spend money and time traveling to Europe in order to get the taste of foods and beers, offered in the festivity and join the fun. San Tan Brewing Company, with the firm commitment of Anthony Canecchia to offer the best to his valued customers, makes it a point to let locals in Arizona enjoy the festival. The organized Oktoberfest celebration of San Tan turned into one of the highlights of the year.

Its lineup of entertainment activities included the performance of the nationally acclaimed dub reggae band called the Expendables. Following the performance are the favorite acts of the locals of Arizona. The event also highlighted a lot of beer games and brat eating competitions. It turned into a night filled with fun since it also coincides with the 6th year anniversary of San Tan. The 6th San Tan Brewing Oktoberfest celebration happened at October 5. It started at 4pm and ended at midnight.

The event also turned into a feast of great beers and foods and fun and exciting activities. According to the owner and head brewer, Anthony Canecchia, the local beers that they offered during the celebration were freshly brewed. It also allowed the public to enjoy authentic and delicious German foods, craft beers, fun games, local vendors and live entertainment. San Tan focused on innovating their own take of German foods without losing what most locals in Arizona enjoy about their foods. An example of the foods offered in the festivity is the Sonoran dog which utilizes the brat traditionally known in Germany. The only difference is that it contains additional Jalapeno to add to its flavor.

The good thing about the event is that it does not only limit its attendance to adults. Children were also welcomed in the Oktoberfest celebration. The activities are family-oriented, so children also get the chance to have fun. San Tan Brewing also prepared for a lager as a means of honoring the Oktoberfest celebration. Ticket prices paid by people who were in attendance are ten dollars. Children who are not yet over twelve years old were also allowed to enter the location free of charge.

The fun and unforgettable celebration took place in Downtown Chandler Arizona. People who participated in the celebration went home with smiles on their faces. Most of them look forward to enjoying the same level of fun and excitement when attending the celebration next year.

Chandler Oktoberfest Photos!

Despite today’s triple-digit temperatures, a couple thousand people flocked to A.J. Chandler Park for the Downtown Chandler Oktoberfest.

Tricycle races were one of several activities enjoyed by “kids” of all ages.

The polka band featured not one, not two, but three accordions. Oldtimers in the audience were singing along in German.

Chandler BBQ Company was one of several food vendors providing sustenance for hungry revelers.

Early in the afternoon, the spacious grass area in front of the stage was one of the least-populated spots. By evening, it was packed.

The coolest place to be Saturday was in the air-conditioned comfort of SanTan, which is celebrating its fourth anniversary.

Bracing Yourself for San Tan Brewing Company's Celebration of Oktoberfest 2013

San Tan Brewing Company's Oktoberfest

San Tan Brewing is currently undergoing its preparation for the coming celebration of Oktoberfest, happening on the 5th of October, 2013. Mark your calendars for a night full of fun since this event will surely fascinate your senses and bring out your energy and spirit. It is also a good way to meet new people who hold similar interests as yours, and enjoy a night filled with live music, exciting festivities, games and delicious beer and food pairings.

Oktoberfest can be traced back traditionally to 1810. It is a traditional celebration in Germany during that time. It usually takes around two weeks for this traditional event to run in Germany. It is traditionally held in Germany during the late part of September up to the first week of October. The 16-day event currently tapped different cultures and countries. This leads different parts of the world to enjoy the fun brought by the event by celebrating their own version of the Oktoberfest.

San Tan Brewing Company, established and administered by Anthony Canecchia, is also part of this joyous event since it makes sure that people in Arizona also get the chance to enjoy it. In fact, Anthony truly feels utmost excitement when the month of October comes because it means that they will also be on their way towards enjoying a fun event. However, it will not take sixteen days for San Tan Brewing to run the festival. It will only take a day, specifically on October 5, starting from 4PM onwards. Despite being unable to hold the event for the usual 16-day period celebrated in Germany, note that Anthony and his team still make it a point to deliver utmost fun to the festival's participants by ensuring that it will be filled with enjoyable activities.

What better way to enjoy the festival than drinking great-tasting and unique beers paired with the most delicious foods? Amazing food and beer pairings, provided by San Tan, are just few of the many things that participants can get from this year's celebration of Oktoberfest. Participants will get the chance to drink delicious beers straight from the taps of the company. San Tan even prepare beer games for people, who have a strong interest to show off their skills while also enjoying their experience when drinking delicious and specialty brews.

Despite the fact that beer is the main part of the Oktoberfest celebration that will be hosted by San Tan Brewing, one can still expect that it is good for the whole family. There are brat eating games that suit those who have the appetite and wish to try their luck. Live music and bands are also available in the event. This is where people will enjoy listening to entertaining music while getting fascinated over delicious beers, endless dancing and brats. Music will always be part of the 2013 Oktoberfest celebration, and this is something to look forward to aside from delicious beers, partying, games and socialization.
